This app features a photorealistic altimeter that replicates the analog altimeter commonly found in general aviation airplanes. The meter movement provides a smooth and realistic experience.

Users can view their current altitude in both analog and digital displays at the same time. Both displays offer independent configuration options to show altitude in either Meters or Feet.

Adjustments to the altimeter can be made by interacting with the "Adj." knob on the analog display, mimicking the actions on an actual altimeter unit.

The app includes a pop-up display that presents all relevant information sourced from the iPhone GPS, such as latitude, longitude, speed, heading, and horizontal/vertical uncertainty.

Altitude data is obtained from the device's internal Barometer or GPS, which may have some limitations. When utilizing the barometer, variations in readings might occur due to atmospheric conditions. For GPS functionality, outdoor operation with a clear view of the sky is required. Altitude readings may experience discrepancies and take some time for the GPS to establish satellite connections. This program is primarily designed for entertainment and educational purposes.

Note that this application is compatible only with devices that feature a built-in GPS. The Barometer mode necessitates a device equipped with a barometric pressure sensor.

Users are advised that continuous use of GPS in the background can significantly reduce battery life.
